There is no download and no sign-up form at the door: you arrive as a guest, and matching plus your first chats are free to start. An account is optional later, useful only if you want your settings to follow you between visits. If you want ChatBlink one tap from your home screen, the chatblink app page shows the two-minute setup for iPhone and Android.
Both are opt-in, always. Every match can start as text, and your camera or mic turns on only when you tap it — nobody on the other side can switch them on for you. If your browser asks for permission, that prompt comes from the browser, and you can revoke it anytime in its settings. If video shows a black square, check that no other app is holding the camera, then reload the page. On iPhone, Safari handles camera access most reliably.
One tap puts you in the matching pool, and the next available person online is paired with you in a private one-on-one chat. There is no room list and no browsing — matching is the product. If the fit is wrong, Next hands you someone new instantly; using it is normal behavior, not rudeness. If matching spins without connecting, the usual fixes are a page reload, a steadier connection, or trying a different hour — the crowd changes completely across timezones, and there is always someone awake somewhere.
Text is a full way to use ChatBlink, not a waiting room for video — many regulars type for entire sessions. Built-in translation carries text chats across languages, so you can write in yours and read theirs. If messages seem out of order on a shaky connection, they usually settle within a second or two; reloading the chat is the fastest fix when they do not. ChatBlink is free to start: matching and first chats cost nothing. Coins keep long sessions going and unlock extras. Prices are shown before every purchase, payment is handled by the payment processor, and coins are a virtual good — no cash value, no transfers, no refunds except where the law requires otherwise. Three controls sit inside every chat. Skip ends the conversation and re-matches you. Block makes sure that person cannot be paired with you again. Report sends the chat to the moderation team, which works around the clock — use it for the line-crossers, because it protects the next person too.
